2-Hour Tours

If you're looking to try out kayaking for the first time, have a tight schedule of fun for the day, or have small children you want to introduce to the joy of the open waters, this 2-hour guided tour will fit perfectly.  Circumnavigate Sugarloaf Island in Morehead City or explore one of our other launch sites in Atlantic Beach and Morehead City in the company of our experienced and entertaining guides.

Summer Tour Times:

   Daily 10am -- 12 pm & 3pm -- 5pm

After Labor Day: Offered weekends at above times & special scheduling

   for groups (Dec-Feb call for availability)

Cost: $45 adults, $30 kids (10yr & under)

 
Wee Pirate Treasure Hunt: 2 hours

Under the guidance of the Pirate Queen Crew, your "Pirates-in-training" will paddle over to the secret island, follow the treasure map, and search out the loot before paddling back with their "booty". Tailored to ages 4-12 yr, Wee Pirates under 10 must bring their adult (or should we say, paddle partner).

Summer Tour Times:

Tuesdays & Wednesdays,

1pm -- 3pm

Spring/Fall: Offered with special scheduling for groups

Cost: $35 Wee Pirate, $25 adult

Half-Day Tours: 3-4 hours

Trade the traffic and concrete for sea spray and spectacular scenery.  Our tours are tailored to the skill sets of your group. Explore Taylor's Creek and visit the wild ponies of Carrot Island, or soak up the sun on Sand Dollar island for your grand adventure. Juice and snacks provided. Call ahead to reserve.

Cost: $60

Always a favorite in the summer heat and magical year round – watch as the sun sinks over the water where the legendary Pirate Blackbeard came to get away from it all.

Out on your own

If you'd like to venture out on your own to explore the waters and test your sea legs, we'll help select a boat to meet your needs. You will be sent off with destination suggestions and equipped with boat, paddle, and PFD (lifevest).
